Recent ActivityGroup Announcements Volunteering at AlveyThere are many opportunities for you to volunteer at school or at home in order to support the efforts to best educate your child. To volunteer for a PTA event or to participate in one of the many committees please contact one of the PTA officers listed above or simply attend one of the meetings and offer your services or ideas.
To volunteer to assist in the classroom please contact your child’s teacher directly. Volunteers for the school clinic, cafeteria, library or other programs are coordinated through the school office. All volunteers must sign in and show identification at the office. There is a volunteer card file for individuals to record the number of hours worked. We track this data to monitor our success at reaching out to our parents so please remember to log in volunteer hours. Student confidentiality is respected at all times when volunteering. Issues or concerns should be directed to your classroom teacher or Candice Rotruck.
